The FIBO Data Model is moving to ERwin DM. Starting with the 2026-Q3 release, we will publish new package (subject area) diagrams in ERWin. The gallery on this page collects diagrams for interested or transitioning data modelers.

The native FIB-DM in ERWin version preserves the style and diagram conventions:
- As in the PowerDesigner diagram on the right, Base Entities remain ochre, and Associative Entities are blue.
- ERWin defaults to sizing entity-level diagrams to text, and we keep it that way. Only entities with many relationships will be larger.
- The out-of-the-box PowerDesigner import doesn’t preserve the Entity and Relationship Stereotype, so we add the important semantic as an ERWin User-Defined Property (UDP).
- ERWin cannot customize annotations on the entity text. Hence there is no <<Associative Entity>> UDP on top of the entities in the diagram. However you can easily spot tem by their blue color.
- By default ERWin displays a Name for all relationships including supertype symbol to subtype (e.g. R_4073). We don’t want that in our diagrams, so we set its color to white.
- ERWin does display the Parent-to Child and Child-to-Parent phrase. We hijack the properties and display <<parent>> and <<child>>. We read the diagram as Loan
parenthas Principal AmountchildLoan Principal.
