ACTUS diagrams

ACTUS (Algorithmic Contract Types Unified Standards) is a global financial standard that provides a machine-readable, algorithmic representation of financial contracts.

Three packages represent the ACTUS Contract Terms, Taxonomy, and a Mapping to the FIBO.

Contract Terms

The package for data model objects derived from the ACTUS Contract Terms ontology module. This ontology represents the ACTUS contract terms that comprise the ACTUS data dictionary as a controlled vocabulary and maps it to FIBO, providing the corresponding semantics and enabling integration of knowledge graphs based on FIBO with the ACTUS system.

Taxonomy

The package for data model objects derived from the ACTUS Taxonomy ontology module. This ontology represents the ACTUS taxonomy as a controlled vocabulary and maps it to FIBO, providing the corresponding semantics and enabling integration of knowledge graphs based on FIBO with the ACTUS system.

Term Applicability Mapping

The package for data model objects derived from the ACTUS Term Applicability Mapping ontology module. This ontology represents a mapping from ACTUS contract terms to the relevant contract type(s) that comprise the ACTUS data dictionary as a controlled vocabulary and maps it to FIBO, providing the corresponding semantics and enabling integration of knowledge graphs based on FIBO with the ACTUS system.

Note: The FIBO ontology defines Named Individuals mapping ACTUS Contract Terms to FIBO classes. The ontology doesn’t define classes or object properties, hence there are no entities in the package.

The Configurable Ontology to Data model Transformation (CODT) preserves the mapping on the ACTUS entity properties. For example, fibo-actus-act:ACTUSContractTerm, Lineage tab.
